My most dominant memory was as a teenager when a friend of mine and I were sitting on our back porch one day. My sister was in the kitchen making the one thing she always made which was Zucchini Bread. That was all that she ever made. Nothing else.

While on the back porch my sister came to the doorway of which the door was open but the screen door was not. She stood in the doorway glaring at us, which caught our attention, and said ‘If You ever date a White Girl I will kill you.” She had a butcher knife in her hand and stuck it through the screen of the door creating a gigantic tear. She turned around and walked away. I was fourteen and she was seventeen years old when this occurred.

It would be decades later when one day out of the blue my estranged youngest daughter would call me on the phone and blurt out “I heard a rumor that you love White Women more than your own children, .. “ I asked what she was talking about or where she had heard such a rumor since she lived over two thousand miles away. She proudly stated “I don’t reveal my sources and You have not earned my respect.” She hung up. She was seventeen at the time. Our relationship, which was already alienated beyond repair, was buried for all practical purposes on that day.

The Zucchini Bread was so memorable first of all because I quickly got tired of being her “taste monkey” to see if it was getting worse or improving. Secondly, it was the only time in my life that I ever tasted anything she had cooked. Twisted Sister never ever invited her family to her house. Never.

Cooking a meal and allowing her family members to sit down and enjoy dinner was absolutely out of the question. Not on Christmas. Not on Thanksgiving. Never.

If I happened to be nearby her neighborhood and decided to stop by just to say Hello it would be met with “Why are You here?”. “What do You want?” She did not like visitors. She did not like her Mother, Father or siblings. Her Husband hated her “entire family.”

It is the Year of Twenty-Twenty Six.

Twisted Sister’s Husband is in the news and it’s not good. It is bad. Very bad. The very last thing that someone who has proclaimed themselves to be so saintly and so worthy of recognition would ever imagine to be attributed themselves. Oh no.

Following up on “The Curse”:

Someone must have known that he was a little different after attending classes at the Dance Studio. Yeah He was legally still just a child but his mannerisms in that first video should have been a wakeup call for his Mom or Dad or whoever signed him up. You could tell he was really enjoying it was into it 100% but as a Dad as a Grandfather there were questions in my head that I kept silent.

It was like I was “not ready to come out of the closet” as a Grandparent saying “Whoa, WTF is going on here.” But I stayed in my lane after all I wasn’t really a grandparent legally just simply a non custodial parent during “The Tender Years” and erased for all intent and purposes shortly thereafter.

That gave me a little bit more freedom than a parent that had a healthy relationship with their child. I had been blown out of the water years before so there would be no love lost now as the result of a thought or two.

There was a striking resemblance though in the maturity that each of “The Cursed” faced, a challenge of some kind that set them apart from others but kept them together as a family. The Criminal. The Goon. The Midget. The Bucket of Losers. “The Cursed”.

The Childless Aunt Twisted Sister WickedWickedWicked and my oldest daughter never imaged their secret being uncovered and revealed in such a manner let alone whom “The Cursed” would be to pay for their sins. The Poison Pill didn’t work as planned. It was a devilishly woven plot that mistakenly included those that spun the wheel of deceit into their own fabric of longsuffering. It was deep.

“The Curse” was all encompassing once it took effect yet each individual had their own person struggles to recognize and overcome. “The Criminal” suffered more in the eye other public than “The Goon” who sought out privacy to cry alone. “The Midget” was the most difficult to observe and understand to any degree.

The Little House on Elmira Street

They had not yet begun Kindergarten and I sold my house to Joe Barbee who came through like a Guardian Angel at just the right time and had the cash. I had played the mortgage to very last possible day before Foreclosure, just as planned, and secured a new rental home for my sons and I.

Joe Barbee loved the landscaping I had done on my home over the years and it was early summer and everything was in full bloom. Joe was a Single Dad also and I had watched him over the years raise his son while driving his Big Trucks across the nation, stopping in town to pay the bills and spend a few days at a home he rarely saw. After the Closing of Sale I secured a wonderful little house still within driving distance of the day care they grew up in and a backyard to die for.

It was a difficult time yet I had adjusted to the situations I could not control the expectations and outcomes of The Family Courts concerning my children continued to disappoint me and bewilder me. Not totally surprising though because by now everything that I read in research of Family laws and the variety of interpretations state to state proved to be true. Custody & Child Support disputes within the Family Court System predictably favored Mothers and Father who challenged anything were in for big surprises and big expenses.

I was hanging though. I was determined by now to expend everything I had mentally and financially to create a peaceful enjoyable life outside the Family Court System without the drama I had to this point experienced. This meant setting emotions aside and doing what had to be done to get what was best for me with or without my children in my life, my zip code or state, … ever.

That little house on Elmira Street was the perfect refuge for awhile as it gave me reprieve from the environment that was just so crazy for what seemed like forever and it finally came to an end and after waiting for so long to exhale, I did. It felt good. I knew I had made the right decision.

It was good and it was crazy at the same time.

In a very short period of time everything in life changed.

No more Corporate Life. No more suits & ties, Dividend Checks, Cash Bonuses, No 401k, Annuities, etc.

Family Life had changed. No wife. No mortgage. No attorneys. No Hearings or Court Appearances. No car or insurance for everything payments. No credit cards. No debtors.

I created totally new life for myself.

I made myself of little value to those who wished to drain me.

There were a few more steps to take. I was paying Child Support for daughters that disappeared not be seen again. It was just a matter of time before my sons would disappear as well in the same way and that was no by coincidence.

Remote Control: There came a time after leaving Corporate America & The American Dream and I had to settle into the realities of Single Fatherhood. I knew that my time was limited and I had to act fast yet I had made commitments that had to be kept without fail. Fortunately it was a very good time in America as the economy was exploding on the shoulders of technology, cash was flowing and business was growing and my skills were in demand. Because of the necessity and desire to build a career or at least generate massive cash flow I was required to develop something unique to those that put cash in my coffers.

Communication and verbiage, … that’s all that was required and that was my expertise. Face to face recognition held no value so no meetings were held just emails letters and phone calls. How simple it was. Agreements were made and deposits were paid. I worked from wherever I was at and whenever it was necessary. I Remote Control of My Clients.

It was a brilliant counter offensive plan to offset the sick greed of J.R. & Junior’s mother.

She thought she was all set. She thought she was about to be awarded the highest Child Support award in history but she was wrong. All of her planning and scheming was in vain. I played by the rules. I did my homework years before the day of this long awaited Court Hearing.

She was sloppy. She left tracks in the mud. She got careless and over excited about this long awaited pay day she was about to receive for giving birth to my twin sons and then ripping them out of my life. That ‘s not the way that love goes.

I was forced to react and plan in a way that I had never intended and because of her viciousness I became ruthless beyond her wildest dreams or nightmares I should say. It was all about the money.

This young pregnant child that found herself one day a Woman quickly realized that it took money, lots of money, to do the things that she wanted to do at this tender age of sixteen.

She had not spoken to her biological Father in months. She didn’t know what to say and with every day that passed she knew that he knew, .. that something was not right. She had stop communicating with him. She wrote no letters nor made no calls. That was the only way to communicate with someone two thousand miles away. Someone that you really did not know that well and for the past nine years your relationship that was so fragile to begin with was almost nonexistent by now. It was all that you knew about this Man that you called Daddy but never saw or was in the presence of.

This young pregnant child had no idea of the dysfunctional ideology of the one person she was about to place her future and her children’s lives in the hands of. She needed money and she needed it now.

The books that her Sperm Donor sent to her as a little girl did not prepare her for the psychological warfare and demonic warfare that was the foundation of everything The Childless Aunt Twisted Sister WickedWickedWicked lived and breathed for. She had fell into the perfect trap that she would never she for herself thinking it was a “blessing” when in all honesty it was a “curse”

A Curse that would come back to remind her of the day she dropped, discarded and trashed her Sperm Donor, her biological Father, a contributor to her DNA, THE Man her Mother asked to forget and to wean himself from so that she could be given to as a daughter to someone else.

She needed money and she would do anything to get it.

And she did. And she was paid.

Twenty Five years later.

“The Goon” was evicted from her apartment and her son was hungry. Baby Daddy was nowhere to be found. She needed money and she would do anything to get it. Déjà vu.

“The Criminal” was one week away from yet another hearing for committing the crime of stealing from another Human Being. Not to end there as another case for Driving Without a Valid License was to be scheduled in the near future in another county. “The Curse” is unrelenting and never fails to surprise at just the right moment. “The Curse” had taken over the life of “The Criminal”. He had no job no education no references no resume just a Rap Sheet of stupid street crimes becoming ever more serious by the day and year. It was time to lock this thug up or deport.

Meanwhile on The West Coast in the darkest dungeons of L.A. an indescribable group of all genders were squirming and oscillating all over each other fighting for the best possible close up in yet another iphones video of Wannabe Influencers. Looking their finest in resale recycled regurgitated thrift shop clothing and fake jewelry they actually looked like rock stars. They exuded stardom and fame one day possibly hopefully to no end.

“The Midget” had grown up. Literally if nothing else.

Now he was curating just as he had been curated.

Truthfully. This world was different from the one he left behind and it’s probably a good thing the folks back home don’t know everything.
